As far as bloggers go, I am a crummy one. That’s why I haven’t updated this thing since I went on hiatus. And subsequently came back. You know, summer of… last year. But I thought I’d say a few word about Le Pistolet now that it’s had some time to grow.

I don’t really know what my intention was with this thing. At best, I can say that it’s made me consistent and punctual, although quality is clearly not a concern. It’s also taught me that consistency isn’t the only key to comic success. I’ve been working on an alternate project that is long form, and in color, and isn’t, well, crap. I hope that it’ll blossom in the earth Le Pistolet has dredged for it.

In that vein, I am also using this blog to announce that within the next couple of months, Le Pistolet will be phased out. It is a comic I do simply to create, and part of me loves that, and part of me wants to bury that other part deep in the earth and ignore it forever. Le Pistolet will be updated when I come up with something irreverent and irrelevant but amusing, and not just because I promised it would be updated. That dedication will be placed on a different comic, with a different mood and different intentions.

I hope you’ll join me as I step forward with my comics and hopefully produce something you all can enjoy that isn’t just… garbled nonsense.
